Entry requirements for Cyprus
UK nationals do not need a visa to visit Cyprus for tourism for up to 90 days.
Your passport must have been issued less than 10 years before your arrival date and must be valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave.
Ensure your passport has at least one blank page for an entry or exit stamp.
Be prepared to show a return or onward ticket and proof of sufficient funds for your stay at border control.
Make sure your passport is stamped on entry and exit, and if it is missing a stamp, show evidence like boarding passes to have it corrected.
Good to know:
If you travel to the north of Cyprus, the time spent there counts towards your 90-day visa-free total for the whole island.
You cannot take meat, milk, or products containing them into Cyprus, with exceptions for specific baby foods and medical pet feed.
Safety in Cyprus
Cyprus is tourist-friendly but has some key cultural and legal rules:
Keep passports, money and valuables secure, as crime against tourists can still happen.
Buy your own drinks, keep them in sight and stay with friends to reduce spiking risks.
Swim only at approved beaches, follow warning signs and beware strong waves and currents.
Do not possess, use or transit with illegal drugs, including cannabis and laughing gas.
Wear seat belts and crash helmets, never use a mobile while driving, and never drink-drive.

Health in Cyprus

The US and Iran announced a memorandum of understanding on 17 June.
A specific warning about wildfires in Cyprus from April to October has been added.
The specific risk has changed from 'regional escalation' to a 'US-Iran memorandum of understanding' and unpredictable regional tensions.
The advice no longer states regional escalation 'has led to travel disruption'.
The guidance for British nationals is now conditional: 'Should hostilities resume...' instead of a direct warning.
