Tangier Travel Guide
Morocco
Tangier is a large Moroccan city of around 1.3 million people, on the country’s northern coast beside the Strait of Gibraltar. Its position gives it a mix of Atlantic and Mediterranean influences, with easy access to the water and to northern Morocco.
Travellers arriving by air use Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport, the city’s listed airport. Tangier is coastal, but there are no notable named beaches within 40 kilometres to single out nearby.
